Alex is an associate in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the litigation group. He has broad complex commercial litigation experience representing large corporations, small businesses and individuals in both state and federal courts, including in general business disputes, trust and estate litigation and consumer class actions. He has in-depth experience in all major stages of the litigation process, including procedural and dispositive motions, serving and responding to written discovery, taking and defending individual, corporate representative and expert depositions, as well as representing clients at mediations and settlement negotiations. Alex has also served as first chair in multiple arbitrations that resulted in successful verdicts of no liability.

During law school, Alex worked as an extern in the Public Defender’s office at St. Joseph County Courthouse, which involved advising clients on various criminal charges and negotiating plea deals with State prosecutors. He also interned with the Honorable Michael R. Barrett in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Alex received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He also attended the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate degree, receiving a B.A. in history.
