Max is an associate in the Vorys Cincinnati office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group. His practice focuses on real estate transactions involving the financing, refinancing and development of multifamily and senior housing under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) insured programs. These transactions include drafting and negotiating construction and financing related documents such as notes, mortgages, UCC financing statements, regulatory agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, construction contracts, architect agreements, Payment & Performance Bonds and numerous escrow agreements. Max has experience closing these loans for projects located throughout the United States.
Max’s practice also focuses on construction-related transactions. He drafts and negotiates construction-related documents, such as those from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and individualized manuscript contracts for various commercial and residential projects, and assists owners and developers with risk management strategies.
Max received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He received his B.S. magna cum laude in economics from the University of Kentucky.
