Tom is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm's litigation group. He represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of litigation matters, including complex business, commercial and contract disputes.
Tom maintains a significant practice in the construction industry, where he advises owners, developers and contractors on disputed matters such as breach of contract claims, change orders, bonding, liens, delay claims, payment disputes and design claims. He also has experience representing clients in the transportation and logistics industry, handling matters involving cargo theft, lost goods, fraud allegations, among others.
He is also experienced in trusts and estate litigation, representing beneficiaries in will contests, trust disputes and other related matters. In addition, Tom counsels clients in the rapidly evolving cannabis industry.
Prior to joining Vorys, Tom served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. He received his J.D. cum laude from the George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from Christopher Newport University.
