Chris is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. He has a wide range of experience, including complex commercial litigation and other advocacy work, transactional work and government service/public interest work.
Chris has significant experience in matters relating to drafting and negotiation for a variety of commercial agreements, various contract disputes, commercial litigation, counseling, arbitration and mediation. He also has experience with ERISA, health insurance coverage, bankruptcy-related litigation, campaign finance, election law and compliance matters. Chris’s additional transactional experience includes the drafting and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements, business formations, mergers and acquisitions work, real estate work and zoning.
Chris previously worked as administrative counsel during two administrations within the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office and as an enforcement attorney with the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Chris was a clerk for U.S. Magistrate Judge James D. Thomas, United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Chris received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a member of the Virginia Tax Review. He received his A.B. from Kenyon College, summa cum laude. During his junior year, Chris studied at Trinity College Dublin.
